Sometimes an error or glitch happens and a recording gets messed up. Sometimes it is fixable, sometime it is not.

Regardless of if your recording is fixable or not, please send a report in to Support@Meetn.com with the event details (time, date, event name) so we can look into what happened and fix it. Bugs that cause recording errors are always high priority and we work to fix them ASAP!

The typical situations are described below:

Audio Desync - Fixable

Audio desynchronization is very easy to fix for us! All you have to do is give the Replay Link to Support@Meetn.com and we'll sort it out for you asap!

Split Recordings - Fixable

If you had a recording interruption and ended up with multiple video files split up, we can fix this for you by stitching it up and replacing the event's video with the stitched one.

⚠ Note: There will be a noticeable jump cut where the stitch is done. This is unavoidable.

Please tell Support@Meetn.com the names and dates of the multiple recordings and which event you'd like them merged into. We'll take care of the rest!

Cut-Off Recordings - Not Fixable

If a recording is cut off, the missing part(s) are not recoverable as they won't have been recorded. We recommend keeping an eye on the Recording status in your toolbar, and if you've noticed it's been stopped, you can restart it and we can stitch together your event replay.

⚠ Note: Anyone who has elevated permissions in your Meetn room can start and stop recordings at any time. Please coordinate with your co-hosts so multiple people don't try to start it at the same time and accidentally stop it prematurely.

Missing Audio - Not Fixable

Missing audio is not recoverable because it won't have been recorded. This almost always happens when a speaker is muted or mutes themselves, and proceeds with their presentation without realizing they're still muted.

Always keep an eye on your microphone icon on the toolbar, as it will tell you if you're muted or not.

Missing Video - Not Fixable, Possibly Mendable

Missing Video is not recoverable because it won't have been recorded. However it may work out for you if visuals can be made in post production or you'd like a static image or animation to play during the event. You can do this with a video editor and send the newly edited video to us at Support@Meetn.com and we can upload it to your event.
