Assigning Co-Hosts, Presenters, or Temporary Hosts
Presenters are what we call people who've been invited to be a temporary host in the Meetn room.
The Presenter is a limited time sudo-Host level role. Presenters are not permanent members of a Meetn room's staff and will only have Host level powers for the duration of the event. After the event, if the user who was a presenter comes back to the room, they will return to Guest status.
While the user is a Presenter, they will have all the abilities of the Host. You can read more about user roles here: Understanding User Roles: Guest, Presenter, Host, Admin, and Owner
How to Invite a Presenter
You will find the invite link to invite Presenters in the Menu > Invite People.
All you need to do is copy that link and send it to your Presenter. Be careful to not mix up sending everyone the Presenter link by mistake! It happens all the time, so double check just to be safe!
⚠ Note: Menu > Invite People is the only place to invite Presenters, as the Room Permissions menu is exclusively for inviting and dismissing permanent staff members to your Meetn room.
